Concept To Table
Bōkan Restaurant – London

The Brief
Situated in Canary Wharf, Bokan is the new flagship of the Novotel group. The restaurant is all day dining. They were looking for a design that took inspiration from the areas dock yard past.

Initial Stages
Peter, from our London showroom, was the first point of contact for Bokan.
“The client wanted the crockery to be confluent with the surroundings, therefore darker tones and brushed metals formed the core of the tabletop.
The unique bespoke service offered by Figgjo allowed us to blend Scandinavian minimalist design to complement the largely wooden interiors.
Figgjo’s flexible 48 piece minimum and expansive colour pallet gave a choice of colour and décor type, which could be bespoke to each piece. From teapots to restaurant plates, an organic profile shines through.
To echo the metals of the areas dockyard past, we put forward Mepra cutlery. Their Stoccolma range has a choice of finishes, allowing an ice matte design for service-ware.”
What The Client Said
“We would surely recommend Goodfellows products and services to another establishment. We have had amazing feedback from our customers so far about the crockery, as it fits perfectly with the interiors and the areas dock yard past. We feel like Goodfellows really understood our brief and suggested ideas that fit with our budget and style. The project was a success from start to finish and we are happy with the service they continue to provide.”
