Meet Linda Bloomfield. She has been a potter for over 30 years and designs and makes amazing porcelain tableware in her West London studio.
You may have already spotted some of Linda’s work in places such as Harrods, ABC New York, the Café Bar in the Royal Albert Hall and Nobu (just to name a few), but we first met the lovely Linda when she entered our Talent for Tableware competition back in January.

We were already exhibiting at Table show and wanted to do something different, so we decided to search for potters and ceramists to showcase their creations on our Talent Booth. As most of you already know, we are massive fans of British made products and brands, so this was a way for us to try and find some more talent right here in the UK.
Linda instantly stood out as a candidate, we fell in love with her portfolio of designs, especially her subtle glazes and dimple marks on her products. We knew her products would work well in hospitality, especially as she was already working with a number of restaurants.

So of course, Linda, along with 4 other candidates, were selected to showcase their collections at Table show, alongside our own booths. Linda’s designs created a lot of buzz at the show and we just knew we wanted to continue to work with her!

After the show, we stayed in touch with Linda and we displayed her work in our London showroom, which always gets a lot of attention – seriously, chefs cannot get enough of Linda’s designs! So we decided to work together and create an exclusive collection just for G & G.

We loved the mix and match element of Linda’s designs, so she created two glazes that work really well together – which is her grey and cream ranges. Our favourite pieces from this collection are the pinched pots – we love the personal touch of the dimple marks!
