If you checked out our blog last week or if you follow us on social media, then you will know we celebrated our showroom’s first birthday on Tuesday (11th June).
Can you believe it’s been one whole year since we move location from Baker Street to a bigger and more central location, Little Portland Street! And what a year it has been…We have welcomed visitors from far and wide, across the UK, Europe and beyond!! We have put together some amazing concepts and worked on some incredible projects with some truly wonderful people.
To be honest, our first year at Little Portland Street has been a bit of a whirlwind and we wanted to stop, take it all in and celebrate with our customers.
So to mark this very special birthday, we decided to host a ‘Bespoke Development Day’. We invited two very influential people; Peter Walpole (the man behind legendary English brand, Walpole) and Charlie Martens (chef favourite Belgium ceramists) to come along and talk all things bespoke.
As always, we made sure there was plenty of drink and food (of course); including tasty cupcakes and Espresso Martini’s (which went down a treat!).
Our first guests arrived at 3pm on the dot and more and more kept on coming! It was lovely to catch up with our customers and to celebrate this special milestone.
Peter and Charlie also brought along some exclusive new designs to show off (Walpole’s was even fresh out the Kiln just the day before!!) and these received a lot of attention. As the day’s theme was all about bespoke, our special guests shared their expertise on how bespoke development works and how it can be achieved. It was all very interesting and we think we learned a thing or two, as well as our guests!
Overall, it was a fantastic afternoon and we would like to thank everyone who came along and helped us celebrate, you really know how to make us feel loved! We hope you had as much fun as we did.
