Most of you already know we have a fabulous showroom located in Baker Street, London. It has become quite a hot spot for chefs in London and the surrounding areas. It has even been affectionately renamed ‘The Plate Cave’.

But did you know, that we also have a ‘mini showroom’ located at our Head Office in the North East for all of you chefs that can’t make it to the capital.

You can come along and browse all of amazing products, in your own time. You will also be greeted by our lovely Lynsey, who is on-hand to offer the best product advice, all with a smile and a cuppa!

Meet Lynsey

We thought it would be nice for you to get to know Lynsey a little better, so we let her take over our blog…

“Hello! My name is Lynsey and I work in G&G Goodfellows Head Office in County Durham.
You may recognise me from my witty Twitter Banter and occasional selfie (I do love a good selfie!)
I regularly take appointments with local restaurants and hotels advising on the very best products for the best value! I love meeting new people and catching up with regulars.

Some of our regulars often pop in for a chat, a cuppa and a quick look at what’s new! They even get a sneaky peek of new products that we haven’t even released yet (shh that is our little secret!)

We say ‘book an appointment’ but it is really not a formal thing. We want you to feel welcome at our office, so we will start with a cuppa first then a chat about what you like, dislike, your budget and we go from there. I will either bring some options to you to have a look at or I might take you for a guided tour and you can pick and choose. It all depends on what you want! There really is no formal script, we treat each customer individually.

There is no pressure, if you just want to have a look around, then that is fine. We are a friendly bunch, renowned for our personal service, so we really do mean it when we say anyone is welcome!
