Wow, what a night!! We are still on a high from our #GGMoveParty last night!
Firstly, we would like to thank all of our lovely guest’s for coming along and celebrating the opening of our new showroom with us. We had so much fun and judging by most of your pics – you did too!!
As you all know, moving showroom was a big deal for us and we would like to thank you for following our journey from 66 Baker Street to 20 Little Portland Street. The reason we throw these kinds of events is purely to celebrate and thank our customers for their continued support. And that’s exactly what yesterday was, celebrating the opening of our new showroom and catching up with you lovely lot!
So, here’s a round-up of our #GGMoveParty…this was, to date, the biggest event in G & G history and we’ve been planning for weeks and weeks! The morning of the party was all about bringing everything together for our guests. We started by decorating our fine dining area. We kept it simple but stunning with a beautiful flower display, put together by our lovely Ella!
Next was the food and drink. We had Little Portland Pies and Little Portland ale made especially for the event. Chef Calum Franklin worked into the night preparing and making his lovely pork pies, which went down a treat! Thanks Calum – everyone loved your posh Portland Pies, yum!
The ale was from our lovely friends at Fullers. Our designer made labels especially for the event not only for the ale but for champagne too (it is all about the little details at G & G!). People loved posing with their Little Portland ales, which also went down a treat! Thank you Fullers! And also, if you were there, keep tagging us in your pictures!
We also had sweet treats made especially for the event by the wonderful Claire Clark, which not only looked amazing but were absolutely delicious, thank you! Also, what do you think of our quirky London bus display?? You completely out-done yourself Marco (Merlini) this was the perfect way to showcase our journey from Baker Street to Little Portland Street. What do you think?
Once everything was set up, we were ready to party! Our first guests started to arrive around 2.30pm, with Jason Atherton and his lovely wife Irha among them. We loved welcoming them and showing them around our new showroom. We also had just enough time for a quick photo!
And from then on, it was non-stop! Ale and champagne was flowing and guests were loving our collections and our new way of showcasing them. The atmosphere was buzzing and everyone was generally having a good old time!
If you were there, we would love it if you shared your pictures with us on social media. Give us a tag on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook! As a little extra thank you, if you tag us in your pics, we will enter you in our prize draw for a chance to win a Stone Notebook!
Couldn’t make our party? Don’t worry, you can book a viewing at our new showroom here – we would love to see you!
Remember to keep checking back for more updates. Until then, we look forward to seeing you at our new 20 Little Portland Street showroom!
