Jamavar, named after the intricate and vibrant 16th century shawls of Kashmir, first opened at The Leela Palace Bengaluru in 2001. Celebration of cuisine is fundamental to The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts and Jamavar is the culinary jewel in the crown.
Jamavar London will showcase a wide array of flavours from across India. On the menu are dishes from the Royal Kitchens of the North along with succulent options from the shores of the South.
I, Chef Rohit Ghai, was born into a Punjabi family, originally from Madhya Pradesh, India. I have risen to be one of London’s most revered chefs of the highest culinary pedigree. Having lead several Michelin starred kitchens, including multi-award winning Gymkhana, Trishna, Verandah in Copenhagen and Benares, I now head the highly acclaimed Jamavar London, Leela Groups’ first international venture for their renowned signature restaurant chain.
Having worked with different restaurants I have personal preference for Goodfellows as I love the versatile range which suits my versatile menu and requirements.
The colours available perfectly suits the dishes on our menu and adds to the presentations.
What makes them even better is their friendly team and staff. They understand the requirements and details so well and deliver the best. I have personally visited the showroom and it displays such a vast range so that you have great options to choose from actual colours.
My best wishes to the company and their entire staff!
